Beef, Barley & Vegetable Soup Mix
Available in large only (makes 8 cups)
Preparation Instructions – Items needed:
- 1 lb of cubed beef or hamburger
Brown one pound of cubed beef or hamburger and drain. Add beef and contents of soup package to 8 cups water. Bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer for 25 minutes (until beef is tender). Discard bay leaf before serving.
This is a nice thick soup with loads of barley and vegetables which include green beans, carrots, cabbage, celery, zucchini, tomato, and broccoli in a beef base soup! Motown Soup’s Corn Bread makes the perfect companion to this soup!
