Chocolate Cookie Mix

Karlin’s Heavenly Chocolate Cookie Mix

Preparation instructions – items needed:

• 8 Tbl (1 stick) of softened butter or margarine
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp water

Preheat oven to 350°.  Remove chocolate chip bag and M & M bag from the large bag and set aside.  Empty dry ingredients into a bowl.  Using a fork or whisk, blend together.  In a separate bowl blend butter until smooth.   Then add egg, vanilla and water until mixed well, scrapping the bottom as need to incorporate.  Add dry mix to butter mixture and mix well.  Stir in chocolate chips.  Top with M & M’s or mix in, whatever you prefer.  Dough can be refrigerated for 15 minutes to firm up if needed.

Drop by tablespoon onto cookie sheet and bake for 11 minutes.  Allow to cool for 3 minutes on sheet before removing cookies to a cooling rack.  Makes approx. 3 dozen cookies.
