Hamilton’s Quick Bread Mix
Preparation Instructions – items needed:
- 1 cup half & half (reg or fat free) or whole milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/3 cup canola oil
Preheat oven to 350°.
Combine bread mix with all ingredients until smooth. Pour into greased loaf pan (9″ x 5″). Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes (or until a toothpick comes out clean). Let sit in pan on cooling rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Enjoy!
Consider adding 1 Tbsp lemon juice and 1 tsp poppy seeds to the batter for a lemon loaf. Or add 1 Tbsp cinnamon to wet bread, and sprinkle with combined 1 Tbsp sugar & 1 tsp cinnamon for a cinnamon loaf.
